A special feature “Check in”, published by the popular British Daily Mail, presents the amazing beauty and tourist offer of Croatia with an emphasis on nautical, eno-gastronomy, active and cultural tourism, as well as destinations in which famous television shows and films were filmed, and highlights Croatia as a safe tourist destination.
Daily Mail is one of the best-selling newspapers on the British market with a daily circulation of more than a million copies and a reach of two million readers.
“We began implementing intensive promotional campaigns on the British market from early July – from the moment they put us on the list of safe countries. In addition to advertising campaigns and informational messages about traveling to Croatia, this feature will contribute to the further positioning of Croatia as a safe and desirable tourist destination in the UK. From this market, we expect more intense tourist traffic from this market during the upcoming period, as numerous airlines have started operating routes to Croatia again, which connect British destinations such as London, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, Bristol and others with Croatian airports. This is especially important for the favourite destinations of Britons in Croatia, namely for destinations in the central and southern parts of Dalmatia where British tourists usually visit”, said the Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board Kristjan Stanicic.
Information about Croatia, in addition to the printed edition are also available online.
In addition, we would like to note that according to the eVisitor system, there are currently more than five thousand British tourists registered in Croatia, and currently most of them are in the Dubrovnik-Neretva and Split-Dalmatia counties.
